Key Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualifications: ITI / Diploma Electronics or related Engineering
Experience Level: Entry-Level /Experienced
Core Technical Knowledge: Foundation in basic electronic circuit, components (passive/active).
Bench Skills & Assembly: Proven hands-on capability in precision soldering (through-hole and SMD), wire harness creation, and prototype board assembly.
Testing & Debugging: Practical familiarity with basic lab test equipment, including digital multimeters, bench power supplies, and oscilloscopes, alongside the ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
ECAD & Design Software: Basic awareness of PCB design workflows; willingness to undergo structured on-the-job training for component library management and schematic capture in Altium Designer and KiCad.
Procurement & Inventory: Basic understanding of component datasheets, sourcing parameters, and inventory tracking for lab materials and vendor coordination.
Key Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, proactive problem-solving attitude, and an eager willingness to learn advanced engineering tools within an R&D environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Assembly & Wiring: Perform precision soldering (SMD/Through-Hole), assemble hardware prototypes, and build custom wire harnesses using schematics.
Testing & Debugging: Operate multimeters, oscilloscopes, and bench power supplies to test circuits, debug PCBs, and log test results.
ECAD Library Management: Maintain and update schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and datasheets in Altium and KiCad (training provided).
Procurement & Lab Operations: Sourcing electronic components, manage local/online vendor relationships, track inventory, and maintain lab bench equipment.
